M – Hepburn Grad Session

Last summer, I drove out to do a grad session for my friend’s son. It was great to get to see them, as with covid, we hadn’t been able to see each other.

We hit up the same general location as with his older sister’s grad session we did a couple years ago, but found different areas to use. We used the museum as a backdrop, instead of the trees and bushes, and I love the distinction!

I always do any family set ups requested first, and then focus just on the graduate after we are finished with the family. I do it that way so the family doesn’t have to follow us around and wait for their turn, getting restless and bored. Also, this way the graduate can relax a bit more without their family watching over their shoulder.

This grad is well versed in getting his photo taken, and he was so mich fun at his session. His mom and I met when we were both taking a college course in photography, and him and his sisters have been her models many many times over the years!
